The inspiration for the design of our elk print pillows originated with Jade's third great grandfather, Steven Nelson Leek. S.N. Leek was one of the first settlers and an avid photographer in Jackson Hole. His numerous elk photographs are nationally
recognized and significantly helped to establish the National Elk Refuge where he was posthumously inducted into the Wyoming Outdoor Hall of Fame. He is widely known as “The Father of the Elk.”
